The Finch Hatton family first explored Southern Africa in 1910 and arrived in East Africa in 1911.

In Kenya, Denys Finch Hatton became a famous hunter who twice guided The Prince of Wales and then Kermit Roosevelt on safari.

Denys played a major role in getting the Tanzanian Serengeti gazetted as a National Park status although he is better known for his role in the Karen Blixen's story 'Out of Africa'.

We are still in East Africa today arranging some of the most adventurous, luxurious, educational, romantic safari holidays and mountain challenges of a lifetime.
